Sunflower is an automated SMS reminder service that has been developed to help improve the efficacy of preventive medicine, in reducing morbidity and mortality of women from breast and cervical cancer in Cyprus.
 
The service can be used by any woman in posession of a local (Cypriot) mobile phone number and women of all ages are encouraged to register for the service. Once registered they will automatically receive a yearly SMS on their mobile phone as a reminder that their Pap Test or Mammogram is due. The service is free of charge and offered as a social contribution by its creators.
